Particle dynamics in the nearshore of Lake Michigan revealed by an observation-modeling system

This work showed the nearshore dynamics for Lake Michigan and its nearshore area by using observations and modeling system. Few drifter experiments had been done in the Great Lakes system, and even few were coupled with a model to show the dynamics. The nearshore Great Lakes system was given detailed investigation during this study.

本研究借助观测与模拟系统，揭示了密歇根湖（Lake Michigan）及其近岸区域的近岸动力学过程。此前针对五大湖（Great Lakes）系统开展的漂流浮标实验屈指可数，且其中极少有结合模型以阐释动力学机制的相关研究。本研究对五大湖近岸系统进行了详尽的调查与分析。
