Supporting code and data for "Self-regulating subglacial hydrology undermines bed-drying interventions in East Antarctica"
收藏资源简介:
This Zenodo record is the supporting code and data archive for the Naturemanuscript "Self-regulating subglacial hydrology undermines bed-dryinginterventions in East Antarctica" by Wang et al. (2026). The archive contains: - Five modified Elmer/Ice Fortran solvers implementing the dynamic bed-drying and discharge-enhanced ice-shelf melt formulations (BedDryingInfoOutput.F90, DynamicBedDrying.F90, DynamicMoulinMask.F90, GlaDSCoupledSolver_DBD.F90, SubShelfMelt.F90). - 20 Elmer/Ice `.sif` steering files covering the complete S0-S8 initialization chain and all transient experiments (REF, REF_NoDE, RM, RM_NoDE, DRY, DRY_Append, plus the three static sensitivity tests). - The 1-km 2-D finite-element mesh of the Wilkes Subglacial Basin (152 514 nodes / 301 221 triangles) and the 762-way MPI partitioning used for the production runs. - Three moulin-selection CSV files (100, 20 and 1000 extraction sites) for the static sensitivity tests described in Methods section 6.2. - MATLAB plotting scripts and pre-extracted snapshots that reproduce Figures 2-5 of the main text with zero Elmer/Ice setup required. - Two Lua configuration files (COLD.lua, WSB.lua) that hold physical constants and WSB-specific paths/parameters. All hardcoded cluster paths have been replaced by a single editablevariable block at the top of each file, so the archive runs cleanly onany machine once the external forcing datasets (BedMachine v3, MEaSUREsice velocity v1, UKESM1-0-LL SSP5-8.5 ISMIP6 Antarctica 2300 forcing,Shen et al. 2020 geothermal heat flux, MAR v3.11 SMB) have beendownloaded from their canonical sources. See README.md inside the archive for the complete directory tree,step-by-step reproduction instructions for Figures 2-5, softwareprerequisites, and the full citation.
