Transcriptional profiling of N. gonorrhoeae comparing wild type cells to cells with inactivated by kanamycin cassette (km) gene involved in restriction modification NgoAXP or with chloramphenicol cassette (cm) gene involved in restriction-modification NgoAV. The Goal was to study the role of M.NgoAXP and NgoAV methyltransferases in overall expression profile. Two-condition experiment, wild type cells vs. mutant cells . Biological replicates: 4 control replicates, 4 mutant replicates.
本数据集针对淋病奈瑟菌(N. gonorrhoeae)开展转录谱分析(Transcriptional profiling),对比对象包括野生型菌株、经卡那霉素抗性盒(kanamycin cassette, km)灭活限制性修饰(restriction-modification)基因NgoAXP的菌株,以及经氯霉素抗性盒(chloramphenicol cassette, cm)灭活限制性修饰基因NgoAV的菌株。本研究的核心目标为解析M.NgoAXP与NgoAV甲基转移酶(methyltransferases)在菌株整体表达谱中的调控功能。本实验属于双条件对照实验,即野生型菌株与突变菌株的对比,其中生物学重复(Biological replicates)设置为:对照组4个生物学重复,突变组4个生物学重复。
