The attached heat transfer dataset was obtained at Oregon State University in the Thermal Energy Systems and Transport (TEST) Laboratory. Six different testing conditions were investigated with a total of 70 data points, varying the 1.) reduced pressure (P/Pcrit of 1.03 and 1.1), 2.) mass flux (500 and 1000 kg m-2 s-1), 3.) inlet temperature (Tin = 16 oC to 50 oC), and 4.) applied heat flux (q" = 20 and 40 W cm-2). The applied heat flux is on the bottom surface of a horizontal test section with a heated length of 20 mm, more dimension details can be found in the attached dataset and the reference.<br>This attached dataset contains both the measured experimental variables and calculated quantities. The wall temperatures, heat transfer coefficient, and corresponding uncertainty were evaluated using an integrated 2-D and 3-D modeling approach, described in the cited references. Some key details about the data are as follows:1. The values for each measured variable represent the average values of the raw data points (approx. 600) that were directly measured by various sensors.2. The attached file has 6 individual sheets which correspond to the 6 test cases considered in the current investigation.3. The attached file contains a detailed key which can be used to interpret the data set presented in each individual sheet. The sheets are named as, XX-YY-ZZ which represents the experimental conditions for the particular data set.• XX represents the reduced pressure• YY represents the mass flux in kg m-2 s-1• ZZ represents the measured heat flux at the flux meter location in W cm-2<br><br>
