Patterns of ice cover for 31 lakes in the Northern Hemisphere

The dataset includes ice-free cover for 31 lakes that extend between 41 and 1146 years. The data was obtained from the National Snow and Ice Data Center. Connected with the ice-free cover data is the physical characteristics of lake obtained from HydroLAKES and mean winter air temperature obtained from CRU Climate Data Center.

本数据集涵盖31个湖泊的无冰覆盖数据，对应观测时长介于41至1146年的湖泊。该数据集的无冰覆盖数据来源于国家冰雪数据中心（National Snow and Ice Data Center）。与该无冰覆盖数据配套的，还有从HydroLAKES数据集获取的湖泊物理特征参数，以及从CRU气候数据中心（CRU Climate Data Center）获取的冬季平均气温数据。
