This dataset includes the economic value of sediment deposition reduction provided by vegetation ecosystems on a 1km spatial grid across Yunnan Province in 2005, with a spatial resolution of 1 km and a temporal resolution of 1 year. It is primarily designed for relevant research in geography, ecology, resource and environmental sciences, and other related disciplines. Precipitation data was processed through precipitation downscaling to achieve a spatial resolution of 1 km. Slope length and slope steepness factors were extracted from the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) using ArcGIS tools. Rainfall erosivity was calculated using a regression model for rainfall erosivity developed based on runoff plot observations conducted in Fuling District, central Three Gorges Reservoir Area. Soil erodibility factors and other related parameters were extracted based on soil type data. The final dataset was generated using the Raster Calculator tool in the ArcGIS 10.2 toolbox.
