Biol 2050 lab 3 Sweep net dataset

Method, sweep net data set: The insects captured by sweeping a butterfly net down a randomly placed transect were recorded on 30/09/2014 at approximately 4:00 near Danby woods on the York university Keele campus. The area where the transect was placed is a grassland with a great abundance and varying distribution of surrounding shrubs and plants. The captured insects were inspected for the total number of insects and the types of insects. The same person (Colleen S.) did every sweep for data consistency.

数据集说明：扫网法数据集。采集方法如下：于2014年9月30日约4时，在约克大学基尔校区丹比林周边区域，沿随机布设的样带（transect）挥动捕蝶网进行采样并记录捕获昆虫。样带布设区域为草原生境，周边灌丛与植物资源丰富且分布不均。对捕获的昆虫统计总数量并鉴定类群。为保证数据一致性，所有扫网采样操作均由同一人（科尔琳·S.）完成。
