By collecting and analyzing demand and consumption-related data for electrical appliance maintenance services from customers in the Xinchang, Shaoxing area, this dataset aims to understand the demand level, purchasing power and consumption preferences of customers for such services, thereby assessing the market popularity of the services, and formulating targeted marketing and service strategies for all enterprises in the electrical appliance maintenance service industry to better deliver personalized products and services to end users. It also helps enterprises gain a deeper understanding of their customers: high-level customers can be communicated with 1 to 2 times per month, medium-level customers 1 to 2 times per quarter, and low-level customers 1 to 2 times every six months, so as to develop more precise marketing strategies.
The dataset construction includes four main steps:
1. Data Collection: Collect daily relevant transaction data reflecting the demand for electrical appliance maintenance services from customers.
2. Data Processing: Classify, merge and accumulate the collected data to facilitate subsequent analysis work.
3. Algorithm-based Processing: Perform demand analysis on the processed data with the following formula: P={a1(minimum order quantity per single transaction)/b1(minimum consumption amount per single transaction) + a2(maximum order quantity per single transaction)/b2(maximum consumption amount per single transaction) + a3(average order quantity per single transaction)/b3(average consumption amount per single transaction)} * k, where k is the consumption coefficient that varies across different regions. Based on empirical experience, the k value for Xinchang, Shaoxing is set to 0.7.
4. Data Classification and Grading: Divide customers into three categories based on the calculated demand score: mark customers with a score above 20 as "High-level", those with a score within the range of 10 to 20 as "Medium-level", and those with a score below 10 as "Low-level".
