Aerobic blood culture bottle was positive after 48 hours of incubation; however, no organism was seen via Gram stain. Greyish, mucoid colonies were observed on blood after 24 hours of incubation at 37 °C in O2 condition. Repeated Gram-stain from the aerobic blood bottle afterre-incubation of 48 hours yielded Gram-negative coccobacilli which appeared singly and in pairs. Fransicella philomiragia was identified using the matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometry (Score value: 2.16) and confirmed by 16S rDNA sequencing

需氧血培养瓶经48小时孵育后呈阳性反应，但革兰染色未检出任何微生物。于37℃有氧条件下培养24小时后，血琼脂平板上可见灰白色黏液样菌落。对该需氧血培养瓶再次培养48小时后行革兰染色，检出散在及成对排列的革兰阴性球杆菌。采用基质辅助激光解吸电离飞行时间（matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time of flight, MALDI-TOF）质谱鉴定为菲洛米弗朗西斯菌（Fransicella philomiragia），得分值为2.16，并经16S核糖体DNA测序验证。
