The coating weight shows a trend of first decreasing then increasing, and the greater the coating thickness, the stronger the water absorption. Increased filler content and surface coating increase the tightness of the base paper, eventually leading to a decrease in the air permeability of the decorative base paper. Changes in filler content have a minor effect on the dynamic permeability of the decorative base paper, while coating has a significant effect on it.
