WIVERN (Wind Velocity Radar Nephoscope) is a future ESA Earth-observation satellite mission, under the Eart Explorer 11 program, aiming at measuring winds within clouds globally using advanced spaceborne radar technology, filling a major observational gap in weather and climate monitoring.Four different simulations of the WIVERN radar instrument Level-1 observables from the end-to-end simulator developed at Politecnico di Torino are provided. The simulations consider hurricane Milton as a case study (from 06/10/2024 to 08/10/2024), using the output of WRF model simulations as inputs to produce synthetic measurements from the on-board radar instrument. 本仓库中的四个netCDF文件分别对应以下四类数据:
