Harmonized Microdata from the Annual Manufacturing Survey (EAM) and Supporting Metadata for the Analysis of Labor Shocks in Colombia, 2008-2024

This dataset contains harmonized microdata from Colombia’s Annual Manufacturing Survey (Encuesta Anual Manufacturera, EAM) for the period 2008-2024, together with supporting metadata and reproducible processing materials designed for the analysis of labor shocks at the firm level. The files include raw survey packages, integrated variable dictionaries, derived analytical datasets, and documentation required to reconstruct the workflow used to build the EAM macrobase and preliminary descriptive indicators. The dataset was prepared to support empirical research on firms’ responses to labor-cost shocks, including the 2012 tax reform and the 2023 minimum wage increase.
