The dehydration of fructose, glucose, and the water-soluble fraction (WSF) of pyrolysis bio-oil was carried out using H-mordenite in the TOSCA 2420036 proposal. During this process, H-mordenite effectively dehydrated the reagents; however, the production of water produced within the inconel cells obscured the spectra of hydroxymethylfurfural and other byproducts. In this continuation proposal, the objective is to conduct the reaction in a continuous reactor (outside of ISIS), distill the water, and analyze the dry products using Inelastic Neutron Scattering (INS) in TOSCA.
本研究依托TOSCA 2420036号提案,采用氢型丝光沸石(H-mordenite)对果糖、葡萄糖以及热解生物油的水溶性组分(water-soluble fraction, WSF)开展脱水反应。实验过程中,氢型丝光沸石可高效实现反应物的脱水,但因科镍合金(Inconel)反应池内生成的水会掩盖羟甲基糠醛及其他副产物的光谱信号。在本次延续性提案中,研究目标为在ISIS装置外的连续反应器中开展该反应,对生成的水进行蒸馏分离,并借助TOSCA谱仪的非弹性中子散射(Inelastic Neutron Scattering, INS)技术对干燥后的产物进行分析。
