INCA - Pollination - ES Potential - 2000-2012 - LAU2

This dataset is an output of KIP INCA. It describes the potential (ES Potential) of land to support pollination services using municipalities as reporting unit.

The vectormap shows the mean values at LAU level of the pollination potential indicator for 2000, 2006 and 2012. -999 Nodata. Dimensionless indicator.

LAU stands for Local Adminstrative Unit. The LAU2 level used in this map (formerly NUTS level 5) consists of municipalities or equivalent units in the 28 EU Member States.

Together with data which describe the demand for pollination this dataset can be used to account for pollination as an ecosystem service flow.

Pollination is a key ecosystem service as many crops but in particular, fruits and vegetables are partially dependent on pollinating insects to produce food for human consumption.

The assessment of pollination potential is based on an indicator of the environmental suitability to support wild insect pollinators. The environmental suitability is, then, used to delineate service providing areas (SPA). Pollination potential is presented by this dataset as a dimensionless indicators.

本数据集系KIP INCA的产出成果，以行政区（municipalities）作为统计报告单元，旨在刻画土地支撑授粉服务的生态系统服务潜力（ES Potential）。
本次发布的矢量地图展示了2000年、2006年与2012年三个年份下，地方行政单元（Local Administrative Unit，LAU）层级的授粉潜力指标均值。其中-999代表无数据（Nodata），该指标为无量纲指标。
LAU即地方行政单元（Local Administrative Unit）。本次地图所采用的LAU2层级（原NUTS 5层级）涵盖欧盟28个成员国的行政区或同等行政单元。
该数据集可与授粉需求相关数据结合，用于核算作为生态系统服务流的授粉服务。
授粉是一项关键的生态系统服务：诸多农作物，尤其是果蔬品类，部分依赖传粉昆虫完成授粉，从而产出可供人类食用的农产品。
本次授粉潜力评估基于刻画支撑野生传粉昆虫生存的环境适宜性指标，该环境适宜性指标可用于划定服务提供区域（Service Providing Areas，SPA）。本数据集以无量纲指标的形式呈现授粉潜力。
