<i>Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani</i>(C. C. Gmelin) Pallais a typical macrophyte in diverse wetland ecosystems. This species holds great potential in decontamination applications and carbon sequestration. We present the first chromosome-level genome assembly for this species.水葱（Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani (C. C. Gmelin) Pallais）是多种湿地生态系统中的典型大型植物（macrophyte）。该物种在污染修复应用与碳封存领域具有极高应用潜力。本研究首次报道了该物种的染色体级基因组组装（chromosome-level genome assembly）。
