Metabarcoding of red-and-green macaw (Ara chloropterus) fecal samples

This was part of a reintroduction project investigating the diet of red-and-green macaws (Ara chloropterus) after their release in the forests of the Ibera Wetlands (Argentina).The field-collected fecal samples of the released birds were subjected to ITS metabarcoding to retrieve dietary information.
