2018 Social Accounting Matrix for Ethiopia

The Nexus Project is a collaboration between IFPRI and its partners, including national statistical agencies and research institutions. Our aim is to improve the quality of social accounting matrices (SAMs) used for computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling. The Nexus Project develops toolkits and establishes common data standards, procedures, and classification systems for constructing and updating national SAMs. The 2018 Ethiopia SAM follows the Standard Nexus Structure. The open access version of the Ethiopia SAM separates domestic production into 42 activities. Factors are disaggregated into labor, agricultural land, and capital. Labor is further disaggregated across three education categories. Representative households are disaggregated by rural and urban areas and by per capita expenditure quintile. The remaining accounts include enterprises, government, taxes, savings-and-investment, and the rest of the word.

Nexus项目（The Nexus Project）是国际粮食政策研究所（IFPRI）与其合作伙伴（包括各国统计机构与研究机构）开展的合作项目。本项目旨在提升用于可计算一般均衡（CGE）建模的社会核算矩阵（SAMs）的质量。Nexus项目开发配套工具包，并建立用于编制与更新国家级社会核算矩阵的统一数据标准、操作流程与分类体系。2018年埃塞俄比亚社会核算矩阵遵循标准Nexus架构。该埃塞俄比亚社会核算矩阵的开放获取版本将国内生产划分为42个产业活动。生产要素被划分为劳动力、农业用地与资本三大类别。劳动力维度还可进一步按照受教育程度划分为三个类别。代表性住户按照城乡地域与人均支出五分位组进行细分。其余账户涵盖企业、政府、税收、储蓄-投资以及世界其他地区。
