Main Endeavour Field Benthic and Resistivity Sensors Deployed 2022-06-04

The OceanEngUW BARS 03 was deployed on 2022-06-04 at Main Endeavour Field. Main Endeavour Field is a vent field located at Endeavour Ridge, where hydrothermal vent systems are observed. This device is a Benthic and Resistivity Sensors. Benthic and Resistivity Sensors (BARS) collect measurements from hydrothermal vents, using sensors to measure resistivity, temperature, eH (oxidizing nature of seawater components) and hydrogen. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

OceanEngUW BARS 03设备于2022年6月4日部署在Main Endeavour热液场。Main Endeavour热液场是位于Endeavour海脊的一处热液场，此处观测到存在热液喷口系统。该设备为底栖与电阻率传感器（Benthic and Resistivity Sensors，BARS）。底栖与电阻率传感器通过传感器测量电阻率、温度、eH（海水成分的氧化性质）及氢气，从而采集热液喷口处的数据。该设备部署于固定平台上。此次部署产生的数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 3.0数字基础设施对外提供；数据质量保证及衍生数据产品均遵循既定规范。
