COSMO-SkyMed是意大利航天局和意大利国防部共同研发的高分辨率雷达卫星星座,2010年11月完成了全部4颗X波段合成孔径雷达(SAR)卫星的发射。它是全球第一个由4颗卫星组成的分辨率最高达1米的雷达卫星星座,具有雷达干涉测量能力,具备全天候、全天时对地观测能力,卫星星座特有的短重访周期等优势,能够弥补光学影像在时间和空间上的局限,目前已广泛应用于测绘、国土、城市规划、海事管理、地质勘测、灾害管理、农林渔牧、环境保护等领域。 2012年共获取COSMO-SkyMed影像3景。覆盖范围均为中游人工绿洲生态水文试验区,获取时间(北京时间)分别为:2012-07-25 07:12,2012-07-28 19:55,2012-08-02 07:12。 获取的3景数据均为PingPong模式,分辨率15 m,产品级别为SLC,极化方式为VV/VH, HH/HV和VV/VH。 黑河流域生态-水文过程综合遥感观测联合试验COSMO-SkyMed遥感数据集通过遥感科学国家重点实验室施建成研究员与意大利航天局(ASI)合作项目“COSMO-SkyMed project 1720:HYDROCOSMO”获取

COSMO-SkyMed is a high-resolution radar satellite constellation jointly developed by the Italian Space Agency (ASI) and the Italian Ministry of Defence. The launch of all four X-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites was completed in November 2010. It is the world's first four-satellite radar satellite constellation with a maximum resolution of up to 1 meter. It features radar interferometry capability, all-weather and all-day Earth observation capabilities, and the unique advantage of a short revisit cycle of the constellation, which can compensate for the spatio-temporal limitations of optical imagery. At present, it has been widely applied in fields such as surveying and mapping, land resource management, urban planning, maritime administration, geological survey, disaster management, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, and environmental protection. In 2012, a total of 3 COSMO-SkyMed images were acquired. All the coverage areas are the midstream artificial oasis eco-hydrological experimental zone. The acquisition times (in Beijing Time) are as follows: 2012-07-25 07:12, 2012-07-28 19:55, and 2012-08-02 07:12. The three acquired datasets all adopt the PingPong mode, with a resolution of 15 m, the product level is SLC, and the polarization modes are VV/VH, HH/HV, and VV/VH. The COSMO-SkyMed remote sensing dataset of the Heihe River Basin Eco-Hydrological Process Comprehensive Remote Sensing Joint Experiment was obtained via the collaborative project "COSMO-SkyMed Project 1720: HYDROCOSMO" between Researcher Shi Jiancheng from the State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science and the Italian Space Agency (ASI).
