Nickel isotope values of serpentinized peridotites in South China, with isotope data annotated with 2SD errors, and the average error is 0.02. This study determined the nickel isotope composition (δ⁶⁰/⁵⁸Ni) using high-precision mass spectrometry (e.g., MC-ICP-MS), combined with the analysis of major and trace elements (Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn), and calculated ratios including FeT/Mn and Zn/FeT. An ion modeling approach was employed to calculate and simulate the equilibrium fractionation effects during mantle melting processes. Data applications and prospects: Light nickel isotopes indicate high oxygen fugacity and sulfur-rich mantle sources; heavy nickel isotopes (δ⁶⁰/⁵⁸Ni↑) indicate sulfur-poor, reducing mantle sources.
