Multiple-locus variable-number tandem repeat analysis (MLVA) is one of the useful typing methods in Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli.In this study, we design a MVLA scheme for differentiating the serogroups O103, O121, O145, O165, and O91. As we had developed a MLVA scheme for O157, O26, and O111 using 17 loci previously (MLVA17), we design the scheme mainly focusing on serogroups O103, O121, O145, O165, and O91. We added another 26 loci for analysis to make a scheme of MLVA43.
多位点可变数目串联重复序列分析(Multiple-locus variable-number tandem repeat analysis,MLVA)是产志贺毒素大肠杆菌(Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli)的实用分型方法之一。本研究针对O103、O121、O145、O165及O91血清型设计了一套MLVA分型方案。鉴于此前我们已通过17个位点开发出针对O157、O26及O111的MLVA分型方案(MLVA17),本次研究的方案主要聚焦于上述O103、O121、O145、O165及O91血清型,新增26个分析位点,最终构建得到包含43个位点的MLVA43分型方案。
