RECENT ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TRENDS IN THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR OF UZBEKISTAN

This article examines the recent economic development trends in the construction sector of Uzbekistan. In recent years, the construction industry has become one of the key drivers of national economic growth, significantly contributing to GDP, employment creation, and urban development. The study analyzes structural changes in the sector, increasing investment activity, modernization of construction technologies, and the role of government reforms in stimulating market growth. Particular attention is given to housing construction programs, infrastructure development projects, and foreign investment inflows. The research also highlights the impact of macroeconomic factors such as inflation, credit conditions, and public policy on the performance of the construction sector. The findings indicate that Uzbekistan’s construction industry is experiencing stable growth and gradual transformation toward a more modern and competitive market system.
