Taking the small watershed in Northwest China’s arid desert area where the typical open-pit coal mine is located as the study area, using GF-2 images, calculating the NDVI results of the study area, extracting NDVI>0 as the vegetation cover area and combing with DEM (Digital Elevation Model), we analyse the relationship between vegetation distribution and slope aspect and water flow path.

本研究以中国西北干旱荒漠区典型露天煤矿所在的小流域为研究区域,采用高分二号(GF-2)卫星影像计算研究区域的归一化植被指数(Normalized Difference Vegetation Index, NDVI),提取NDVI值大于0的区域作为植被覆盖区,并结合数字高程模型(Digital Elevation Model, DEM),分析植被分布与坡向、水流路径之间的关联关系。
