In this study, we describe a highly toxic B. thuringiensis sv. israelensis strain (AR23), active against several dipteran larvae, isolated from a Lebanese soil sample. In order to understand its high toxicity in vivo, we investigated its genetic background and specifications by WGS.

本研究报道了一株分离自黎巴嫩土壤样本的高毒力苏云金芽胞杆菌以色列亚种（B. thuringiensis sv. israelensis）菌株AR23，该菌株对多种双翅目幼虫具有杀虫活性。为阐明其体内高毒力的特性，本研究通过全基因组测序（Whole Genome Sequencing，WGS）对该菌株的遗传背景与特征进行了分析。
