We propose contemporaneous NuSTAR and XMM-Newton observations of the recentlyclassified IMXB 4U 1210-64 for 40 ks. Taking advantage of the excellent timingand spectral resolution of NuSTAR we will perform broadband continuumspectroscopy and look for signatures of a NS or BH such as pulsations QPOs andCRSFs. With XMM-Newton we will probe the geometry and ionization structure ofthe accretion flow onto the compact object using the high spectral resolution ofRGS measure the profile of the Fe Kalpha Fe XXV and Fe XXVI emission lines aswell as search for emission lines of lower Z ions. Our observation of 4U 1210-64holds broader astrophysical r^ance in characterizing the circumstellarenvironment in IMXBs and will be the first observation of 4U1210 with grating resolution.
