This dataset is developed by collecting and analyzing trench coat demand volume and consumption-related data of customers in the Ningbo region, to understand customers' purchasing power and consumption preferences for trench coats, evaluate the market popularity of this product, and provide references for all enterprises in the industry to formulate production strategies and deliver better personalized products and services. By leveraging this dataset, enterprises can gain a deeper understanding of their customers, and adjust communication frequencies based on customer tiers: communicate 1 to 2 times per month with high-tier customers, 1 to 2 times per quarter with mid-tier customers, and 1 to 2 times every six months with low-tier customers, so as to formulate more precise production and marketing strategies. The specific workflow of this dataset is as follows: 1. Data Collection: Collect transaction data related to customers' regular trench coat demand. 2. Data Processing: Classify, merge and accumulate the collected data to facilitate subsequent analysis. 3. Algorithm Processing: Conduct demand index calculation on the processed data with the formula: $P = [(a_1 / b_1) + (a_2 / b_2) + (a_3 / b_3)] * k$. Herein, $a_1$ refers to the minimum single-order quantity, $b_1$ refers to the minimum single-order consumption amount; $a_2$ refers to the maximum single-order quantity, $b_2$ refers to the maximum single-order consumption amount; $a_3$ refers to the average order quantity, $b_3$ refers to the average consumption amount; $k$ is the consumption coefficient, which varies across regions. Based on empirical experience, the $k$ value for the Ningbo region is set to 0.8. 4. Data Classification and Grading: Divide customers into three tiers (high-tier, mid-tier, low-tier) based on the calculated demand index: high-tier for scores above 200, mid-tier for scores between 100 and 200 (inclusive), and low-tier for scores below 100.
