This dataset follows the digital collection specifications for cultural relics, with point cloud data processing as its core component. The key rules and algorithms are as follows: Raw data is collected using a combined "laser scanning + multispectral imaging" technology, which not only accurately captures the spatial structural information of Thangkas but also fully preserves the original color characteristics of pigments, thereby avoiding information loss caused by single-technology acquisition; In the point cloud preprocessing stage, the statistical filtering algorithm is applied to remove environmental noises (such as dust and scanning spot interference), and the radius filtering algorithm is used to eliminate isolated redundant points, ensuring data validity; In the multi-view point cloud registration stage, the improved Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm is adopted, combined with edge feature point matching for Thangkas, to enhance the model registration accuracy, with the error controlled within 0.1 mm; In the surface reconstruction stage, the Poisson surface reconstruction algorithm is utilized, together with the texture mapping optimization algorithm, to fully restore the smoothness of Thangka lines and the layered texture of pigments; The dataset is compatible with mainstream 3D model formats including .obj and .ply, adopts a unified world coordinate system, and supports secondary editing via software like MeshLab and Blender, meeting the application requirements of diverse scenarios.
