A detailed structural investigation was conducted on DNA self-replication using an RNA template with phosphoroimidazole activation. The study reveals a clear dependence between helix type and the efficiency of nonenzymatic primer extension. Specifically, the RNA template imposes A-type helicity on the hybrid helix, enhancing the efficiency of primer extension.
本研究针对采用磷酰咪唑活化(phosphoroimidazole activation)的RNA模板(RNA template),开展DNA自我复制(DNA self-replication)的详细结构探究。研究清晰揭示了螺旋类型与非酶促引物延伸(nonenzymatic primer extension)效率之间的明确依赖关系。具体而言,RNA模板可使杂合螺旋(hybrid helix)呈现A型螺旋性(A-type helicity),进而提升引物延伸的反应效率。
