The genomic footprint of coastal uplift on Durvillaea kelps

GBS libraries for three species of Durvillaea were prepared using PstI. SNP data were analyzed to understand the effect of an ancient coastal earthquake uplift on population structure and demography of D. antarctica, D. poha, and D. willana in southern New Zealand.

针对3种牛海带属（Durvillaea）物种，采用限制性内切酶PstI构建了基因分型测序（Genotyping-by-Sequencing，GBS）文库。随后对单核苷酸多态性（Single Nucleotide Polymorphism，SNP）数据展开分析，旨在解析古海岸地震抬升事件对新西兰南部南极牛海带（D. antarctica）、波哈牛海带（D. poha）以及威拉纳牛海带（D. willana）的种群结构与种群历史动态的影响。
