Dataset used to investigate the geographic variation in clutch size of the Varied Tit in East Asia

This dataset was created to analyze the geographic variation in clutch size of the Varied Tit Sittiparus varius. Clutch size data were collected across an extensive range in East Asia by reviewing the literature and adding our original records. The geographic coordinates, subspecies, habitat size, elevation, and forest vegetation type were identified for each study site from literature and several other web sources. Data preparation details and references are presented in the separate sheets.

本数据集旨在分析杂色山雀（Sittiparus varius）的窝卵数地理变异情况。研究团队通过文献调研与新增原创观测记录，在东亚广阔分布范围内收集了该物种的窝卵数数据。研究人员从文献及多个网络数据源中，为每个调查位点确定了地理坐标、亚种分类、生境面积、海拔高度与森林植被类型等信息。数据预处理细节与参考文献均列于本数据集的独立工作表中。
