DLX3 is a homeodomain transcription factor involved in amelogenesis. Mutations in DLX3 in human lead to Tricho-Dento-Osseous syndrome featuring enamel hypoplasia and hypomineralization. Here we investigated the distribution of DLX3 DNA binding sites in rat enamel organ using ChIP-seq.

DLX3是一种同源结构域转录因子(homeodomain transcription factor),参与牙釉质发生过程。人类DLX3基因发生突变可引发毛发-牙-骨综合征(Tricho-Dento-Osseous syndrome),该综合征以牙釉质发育不全和矿化不足为特征。本研究通过染色质免疫共沉淀测序(ChIP-seq)技术,探究了大鼠牙釉质器官中DLX3 DNA结合位点的分布情况。
