The effects of Quaternary climatic oscillations on the demography of organisms vary across regions and continents. In taxa distributed in Europe and North America several paradigms regarding the distribution of refugia have been identified. In contrast, less is known about the processes that shaped the species’ spatial genetic structure in areas such as the Himalayas, which is considered a biodiversity hotspot. Here, we investigated the phylogeographic structure and population dynamics of Primula tibetica by combining genomic phylogeography and species distribution models (SDMs).

第四纪气候振荡对生物种群动态的影响因区域与大陆而异。针对分布于欧洲和北美的生物类群,学界已确立了多项关于冰期避难所分布的经典范式。与之相反,对于被视为生物多样性热点的喜马拉雅等区域,塑造该物种种群空间遗传结构的相关过程,目前我们的认知仍较为有限。本研究结合基因组系统地理学与物种分布模型(SDMs),对藏报春(Primula tibetica)的系统地理结构及种群动态展开了探究。
