This dataset contains the 2023 observation data of soil moisture content from runoff plots with different slopes in Yulin Gully of the Xindian Gully Watershed, located in the First Sub-region of the Loess Hilly-Gully Region. The runoff plots with different slopes in Yulin Gully are situated on the left bank of Yulin Gully, a first-order tributary of Xindian Gully. Since 2016, 10 runoff plots with different slopes have been newly established.
