John Taylor Hobbs Database

This database of 560 J.J. Talbot Hobbs' clients and projects 1887-1904 has been prepared in good faith and from information gathered in the course of producing a PhD thesis by John Taylor. Datasets of projects include: - the client name and address; - job type (e.g. villa, store, house, hotel, church shops etc.); - the architectural style of the building (e.g. federation bungalow, federation warehouse, federation gothic etc.); - the local Government Authority; - the contractor's name; - the decription of the work done; - fees charged for work done; - value of the building; - suburb; - the year which work began and ended; - current status of the building (if known). Some of the projects include past and present images of the structures.
