Kilifi County post-training course surveys Migori County post-training course surveys

Post-training surveys were administered to 158 obstetric staff (nurses, midwives, doctors) working in Migori and Kilifi county hospitals following a comprehensive training course on postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) management and how to use the Ellavi intrauterine balloon tamponade. The training course included a lecture, videos, Ellavi UBT insertion mentor and mentee checklists, pre- and post-test questionnaires, team practice simulations (case scenarios), and job aid posters. We used this training package to implement a training-of-trainers session for 8 national level MOH staff in Nairobi (January, 2021); the 8 national trainer-of-trainers (TOT) then educated 173 providers within the two target counties in March (Migori County) and June (Kilifi County) of 2021 to also become TOTs. Of the 173 trained, 158 completed the survey. The post-training survey was administered at the end of each training session to evaluate appropriateness, acceptability and feasibility of using the Ellavi UBT among obstetric health care workers by surveying comprehension of the usage steps, accuracy of use, perceptions and attitudes towards the device, usability and user confidence, facilitators of use, barriers to use, use-patterns, and insights into training effectiveness.

针对完成产后出血（postpartum hemorrhage, PPH）管理及Ellavi宫内球囊填塞装置（Ellavi intrauterine balloon tamponade）系统化培训课程后，供职于米戈里县（Migori）与基利菲县（Kilifi）医院的158名产科医护人员（护士、助产士、医师），我们开展了培训后调查。该培训课程涵盖专题讲座、实操视频、Ellavi UBT置入导师-学员核查清单、培训前后测评问卷、团队模拟实操演练（病例情境）以及工作辅助指引海报。我们依托该培训包，于2021年1月在内罗毕（Nairobi）为8名国家卫生部（Ministry of Health, MOH）工作人员开展了培训师培训（training-of-trainers, TOT）项目；随后这8名国家级培训师，分别于2021年3月（米戈里县）与6月（基利菲县），对目标两县的173名医护人员开展培训，使其同样成为培训师（TOT）。在173名接受培训的人员中，共有158名完成了本次调查。我们在每一期培训结束后均开展培训后调查，通过调研产科医护人员对Ellavi UBT使用步骤的掌握程度、操作准确性、对该装置的认知与态度、易用性与使用信心、使用促进因素、使用障碍、使用模式，以及对培训效果的见解，评估产科医护人员使用该装置的适宜性、可接受性与可行性。
