This is the data for Figure 4, which was obtained as described in the material and methods of:

Column header meanings:
mouse - mouse number
treat - treatment code (as described in the methods)
prop.retics.mean - mean proportion of reticulocytes throughout the infection
rbc.ml.min - minimum number of red blood cells (rbc) per ml of blood measured throughout the infection
wgt.min - minimum weight (in grams) measured throughout the infection
dead - 0: mouse did not survive to the end of the experiment; 1: mouse survived to the end of the experiment
