Oak masting remains stable despite climate warming
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the original seed production and climate datasets used in the study "Oak masting remains stable despite climate warming". The dataset includes long-term records of acorn production collected across forest sites in Poland, together with the associated temperature variables. Data files are provided in their processed form as used for the statistical analyses presented in the manuscript. The accompanying R code used to process the data, reproduce analyses, and generate figures is available in the associated GitHub repository: MastingTrends/tree/main Contents Seed production records for oak populations across Poland. Daily temperature. Additional details Metadata: Harvest_Poland.csv Variable Description Species Tree species. NADL Forest district (Nadleśnictwo) identifier corresponding to the sampling site. Year Year of seed production observation. Prev_year_harvest Seed production recorded in the previous year. Demand Annual seed demand estimate used as a proxy for seed collection effort. lat Latitude of the sampling site (decimal degrees, WGS84). long Longitude of the sampling site (decimal degrees, WGS84). Seed_source_area Seed source area associated with the sampling site. Metadata: tmax.xlsx Variable Description Date Calendar date of the climate observation. Year Year of observation.
