In vitro selection identifies Staphylococcus aureus genes associated with biofilm formation

In vitro selection, whole genome sequencing, and examination of isogenic knockouts of four S. aureus laboratory strains (ATCC29213, JE2, N315, and Newman) was performed looking for genomic changes associated with enhanced biofilm production.
