Data was obtained from two cohorts of 10 sexually naive male rats each one (n=20). They were tested in 6 weekly copulatory encounters aimed at classifying them based on Ejaculation Latency or Ejaculation Number. We removed amygdala, medial pre-optic area, olfactory bulb and ventromedial hypotalamus accordingly to Praxinos's anathomical marks, as previuosly reported (Antaramián, et. al., 2015) to determine relative expression levels of AR, ESR1, PR, CYP19, DNMT1 and DNMT3A through 2-ΔΔCt method.Tyrosine 3-monooxygenase / tryptophan 5-monooxygenase activation protein zeta was used as the housekeeping gene and a pooled sample from brain area to compare every individual value.We used this dataset to build a heatmap with complete-linkage dendrograms <br>
本数据集源自两组实验对象,每组各含10只性经验未接触的雄性大鼠,总样本量n=20。研究人员通过6次每周开展的交配实验对其进行测试,旨在基于射精潜伏期与射精次数对大鼠进行分类。按照Praxinos的解剖学标记,我们分离提取了杏仁核(amygdala)、内侧视前区(medial pre-optic area)、嗅球(olfactory bulb)以及下丘脑腹内侧核(ventromedial hypothalamus),具体操作参照此前Antaramián等人2015年发表的研究方案,以此通过2-ΔΔCt法测定雄激素受体(AR, Androgen Receptor)、雌激素受体1(ESR1, Estrogen Receptor 1)、孕激素受体(PR, Progesterone Receptor)、细胞色素P450 19(CYP19)、DNA甲基转移酶1(DNMT1)及DNA甲基转移酶3A(DNMT3A)的相对表达水平。本研究以酪氨酸3-单加氧酶/色氨酸5-单加氧酶激活蛋白ζ作为内参基因,并以脑区混合样本作为参照,用于与每个个体的检测值进行对比。本研究使用该数据集绘制了带有完全连接法聚类树的热图。
