Radical Translations: Geographical data (Places)

This dataset contains geodata about places (mostly cities) connected with the lives and activities of persons and organisations involved in the production of either source texts or their radical translations. These include places of birth and death, main residences, places of travel and exile, and places of publication of translations and source texts.This is an output of the AHRC-funded project <i>Radical Translations: The</i><i> </i><i>Transfer of Revolutionary Culture Between Britain, France and Italy (1789-1815)</i> (project reference AH/S007008/1) directed by Prof Sanja Perovic (PI), Rosa Mucignat (co-I) and Erica Mannucci (international co-I) and hosted by the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, King's College London.
