Cameron Parish Ship Channel Bioacoustics Dataset AGU Thriving Earth Exchange Project Page This dataset consists of hydrophone recordings and handwritten logs collected by community members of Cameron Parish, Louisiana. Hydrophones were deployed at several sites around Calcasieu Lake and Cameron Strait from July to November 2025. This study was conducted by Habitat Recovery Project through AGU’s Thriving Earth Exchange Program in partnership with Louisiana fisherfolk in order to characterize the underwater soundscape of a channel that hosts multiple Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities. All recordings are labeled with the format: TEX_RecordMMDDYY Instrumentation: Aquarian A5 Hydrophone + Zoom H1essential (Community science use) Aquarian S1e Hydrophone + Zoom F3 (High-fidelity scientific recording) Species of interest for this study include Penaeid shrimp (white, brown, seabob) Bottlenose dolphins
