AGU Thriving Earth Exchange: Cameron Parish Ship Channel Bioacoustics Dataset

Cameron Parish Ship Channel Bioacoustics Dataset AGU Thriving Earth Exchange Project Page This dataset consists of hydrophone recordings and handwritten logs collected by community members of Cameron Parish, Louisiana. Hydrophones were deployed at several sites around Calcasieu Lake and Cameron Strait from July to November 2025. This study was conducted by Habitat Recovery Project through AGU’s Thriving Earth Exchange Program in partnership with Louisiana fisherfolk in order to characterize the underwater soundscape of a channel that hosts multiple Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities.
