西安城市边缘区土地利用数据集（2015）

城市边缘区是城市建成区和农村地域之间的过渡区域。其特征是城市建设用地侵入农业用地而形成的土地利用犬牙交错状态和用地景观的破碎化。基于2015年西安城区及其邻近区域的Landsat TM 影像，参考同时期的Google earth影像，分类、解译得到土地利用数据（2015）；结合西安城市化空间发展态势，参考西安市各街道建设用地面积比重、耕地面积比重和景观破碎度指数，确定了西安城市边缘区的界线，得到西安城市边缘区土地利用数据集（2015）。数据集包括：（1）西安城市边缘区的边界数据（.shp）；（2）西安城市边缘区的土地利用分类数据（.shp），包括建设用地、耕地、林地和其它共4类。该数据集存储为.shp格式，由14个数据文件组成，数据量为8.11 MB（压缩为1个文件，4.78 MB）。基于该数据集的研究论文“快速空间扩张下西安市边缘区社会脆弱性多尺度评估”发表在《地理学报》2018年第73卷第6期。

The urban fringe refers to a transitional zone between urban built-up areas and rural regions. It is characterized by interlocking land use patterns formed by the encroachment of urban construction land upon agricultural land, alongside landscape fragmentation of land use patches. In 2015, land use data for 2015 was generated through classification and interpretation based on Landsat TM images of Xi'an's urban area and its adjacent regions, with reference to contemporaneous Google Earth imagery. Combined with the spatial development trend of urbanization in Xi'an, and by referencing the proportions of construction land area, cultivated land area, and the landscape fragmentation index for each sub-district in Xi'an, the boundary of Xi'an's urban fringe was delineated, and the Land Use Dataset of Xi'an's Urban Fringe (2015) was obtained. This dataset includes two components: (1) Boundary data of Xi'an's urban fringe (stored in .shp format); (2) Land use classification data of Xi'an's urban fringe (stored in .shp format), which covers four categories: construction land, cultivated land, forest land, and other land types. The dataset consists of 14 individual data files, with an uncompressed total size of 8.11 MB (compressed into a single file of 4.78 MB). A research paper based on this dataset, titled "Multi-scale Assessment of Social Vulnerability in Xi'an's Urban Fringe Under Rapid Spatial Expansion", was published in *Acta Geographica Sinica*, Volume 73, Issue 6, 2018.
