Whole genome sequencing of Lactobacillus plantarum CECT 8962

Lactobacillus plantarum CECT 8962 was isolated from chicha, a traditional maize-based fermented alcoholic beverage from Northwestern Argentina, and has been investigated for its high biotechnological potential in the frame of project Microandes that targeted traditional fermented Andean products of vegetal origin.
