VPRS 18815 Visitor Report Book on the State of the Hospital

This series comprises a single visitor report book containing comments by official visitors on the state of the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital (VA1254).  The comments covered the physical state of the hospital as well as the state of the patients in terms of their demeanour and treatment.  Official visits to the Hospital for the purpose of reporting occurred weekly and although the reports were brief in the beginning, the reporting became more expansive as the hospital grew.
