External stimuli for the younger generation are an attraction and driving force for farmer regeneration in Indonesia

The dataset comprises responses from 326 individuals and is designed to examine the influence of external stimuli on the younger generation’s interest in pursuing farming careers in Indonesia. The data specifically focuses on Generation Alpha and captures variables such as perceived economic opportunities, the public image of farming and agriculture, government policies supportive of farmers, parental and familial encouragement, social support systems, early exposure to agricultural values, financial accessibility, and access to agricultural technology. These factors are analyzed to understand their direct impact on shaping youth interest in agricultural professions.
