COVID-19 hospitalization GWASs, including HGI-B1 (hospitalized vs. non-hospitalized) and HGI-B2 (hospitalized vs. general population) are compared for effect sizes of each SNP using Z-test with/without normalization. The two GWASs were downloaded from HGI (release 4), and samples used to generate the two GWASs were with mixed ancestries. Only SNPs with MAF>0.01 and imputation score > 0.6 were kept. The aim for the comparison is to identify potential COVID-19 risk SNPs showing ancestry-linked effects. 本研究针对两类COVID-19住院相关全基因组关联研究(Genome-Wide Association Study, GWAS)数据集——HGI-B1(住院组vs.非住院组)与HGI-B2(住院组vs.普通人群),采用Z检验(分标准化与未标准化两种情形)对比各单核苷酸多态性(Single Nucleotide Polymorphism, SNP)的效应量。上述两项GWAS均下载自HGI(第4版),其构建所用的样本均为混合血统人群;仅保留次要等位基因频率(Minor Allele Frequency, MAF)>0.01且基因型填充评分>0.6的SNP位点。本对比分析的目的是识别出具有血统关联效应的潜在COVID-19风险SNP。如需查阅分析的详细细节,请访问GitHub平台上的SAS GWAS Analyzer工具(https://github.com/chengzhongshan/COVID19_GWAS_Analyzer)。
