Here, we analyzed nine Drosophila piRNA pathway mutants for their impacts on both small RNA populations and the sub-cellular localization patterns of Piwi proteins. We find that distinct piRNA pathways with differing components function in ovarian germ and somatic cells. 本研究针对九株果蝇（Drosophila）的piRNA通路突变体，分析其对小RNA群体以及Piwi蛋白亚细胞定位模式的影响。研究发现，在果蝇卵巢的生殖细胞与体细胞中，存在由不同组分构成的piRNA通路，二者功能存在差异。
