TUFT1 mediates TGF-Beta-induced activation of hepatic stellate cells into myofibroblasts to promote colorectal cancer liver metastasis

Primary human hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) were purchased from Yizefeng Bioscience Inc. (Shanghai, China). Primary human HSCs transduced with control shRNA or TUFT1 shRNA lentiviruses were starved with serum-free medium for 24 h and then stimulated with TGF-Beta1 (5 ng/ml) for 24 h. Cells were collected to extract RNA for sequencing. This study was performed to identify genes transcriptionally regulated by TUFT1.
