资源简介:
Data, scripts, and output for Makovicky et al. "Argentine fossil rewrites evolutionary history of a baffling dinosaur clade"
Contact Jonathan S. Mitchell (jmitchell@coe.edu) with any questions regarding the content.
This contains:
- 1) code & data to read in, timescale, and output trees, as well as fit models of phenotypic evolution to them. Detailed descriptions of the files within are in the README file
- 2) Scripts and input files on distribution and time slicing and plus ten specific trees used for the BioGeoBEARS analyses, as well as the script needed to run those analyses. Detailed descriptions of the files within are in the README file.
- 3) two datasets in .tnt format for phylogenetic analysis. The first "Coelurosaur_submission_final.tnt" is the data set used to generate MPTs shown in Figure 2, and for the the macroevolutionary and biogeographic analyses. The second data set, "Coelurosaur06_16_25_merged_taxa.tnt" was used to explore what happens if certain taxon pairs (Alvarezsaurus + Achillesaurus, Ceratonykus + Parvicursor) are considered synonymous following literature, results of which are shown in Extended Data Figure 7a. The steps taken to generate the trees and supports measures shown are detailed in the "Methods" section of the paper.
