This dataset contains the experimental data supporting the study on MnNi₂O₄/imidazole-functionalized MXene (MNO@IMD–MX) nanohybrids for energy storage and electrocatalytic applications. The data include synthesis details of IMD–MX and MnNi₂O₄, along with compositional variations (3, 5, and 7 wt%).Structural characterization datasets such as X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) are provided to confirm the inverse spinel structure and oxidation states of Mn and Ni. Electrochemical performance data include cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge–discharge (GCD), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements.
Supercapacitor performance data for the assembled asymmetric device (MNO@IMD–MX–5%//AC), including energy density and power density values, are also included. Additionally, electrocatalytic measurements for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER), including overpotentials and Tafel slopes, are provided.These datasets support the reported enhanced performance of the optimized MNO@IMD–MX–5% nanohybrid and enable reproducibility of the results.
